Last year over Memorial Day weekend, a tiny little Cooper and I packed up and along with my mom, sister and niece, made a trip to South Dakota to visit my dad's family. While Travis is home getting a project done this weekend, we're trying the trip again this year, although I'm a little terrified about how it will go. Cooper and I can't always make it the 30 minute trip home at the end of the day without him having a little moment about being in his carseat, so the 5 hours to get to Rapid City could be a very long 5 hours. To not press our luck too much we're planning on spending the weekend with Cade in Rapid, while everyone else goes the rest of the way to Highmore. Hopefully Cade's house will survive the little tornado.
A moral question:
When Cooper wakes up in the morning, and is only at home and awake for about 20 minutes before I pack him up in the car, but in those 20 minutes gets mad at everything from the dog to the glass he can't reach to the fact that he has to get a shirt on, am I obligated to give warning to Grandma at daycare that I am delivering a monster into the midst? Or do I drop him off and run?
