Picture shortage
I was just looking through pictures and became appalled that I didn't have any pictures of Cooper since right after his haircut. And that was two weeks ago! Thank goodness though, I did have some, I just hadn't gotten them from the camera onto the computer. For a minute I wondered what was wrong with me... I am a little short on photos though, I'll have to remedy that.
If Brooke had a blog, she'd write about funny things her kids say and do, but since she has no blog and lots of funnies, I'll share a little Addie anecdote that I meant to put on here a while ago. Griffin and Addie were both baptized a few weeks ago, and I had asked Brooke what they told Addie leading up to it. The night before the baptism, Brooke asked Addie if she remembered that she was getting baptized the next day. Addie sniffled a bit and said "can I still live here with you guys?" Dave had told her that she was going to be part of the church family, so to Addie, that meant the possibility of having to go live with her new family. She comes up with the most priceless things!
Yoga flower
I have quite a few flowers in my yard, but I discovered this year that one type in particular is a very special flower; it knows how to do yoga. Let me tell you how I know: I have a yoga workout that I do once in a while, led by two perky ladies on the video. Yoga seems pretty innocent and mellow, but I've decided it's harder than it looks, and can be a little challenging for me. So when perky lady #1 says "Shine up!", and I am supposed to reach up high to the sky with even my fingers stretched up ("yearn your fingers for the sky!" she says), sometimes lazy lady #1 (that's me), just really wants to collapse down instead of shining up. So you see, not only do my flowers know how to do yoga, they even do yoga like me, and they just can't be bothered to shine up.
ball pit
I was trying to get a video to load, but I haven't had any luck, so until I succeed I'll just attach a couple pictures. Cooper is borrowing Addie's ball pit and loves it. He gets to throw the balls all over, put lots of toys and misc. items into the ball pit, and it gives him another thing to climb on, and climbing is what Coopers do best!
